I think the fast reply windows + chrome translator was an annoyance

Last but not least i did not mention it, it seems the Bauer exchange my block against an another. There is some other mark / new serial

hi mate. love to hear that youre nearly ready well meet at track this season i guess. do you know if this big sized watercooler is necessary? i heard that this aluminumstylecooler has worse heat exchangevthan the original cooler.

For the moment, the car is drived slowly by the man whom will make the map
After 1000km he will make the map.

About the aluminium watercooler (bought on tewiga), I've change it with this model because Ralf return the car with mine in very bad condition and this is the fastest I've found over the net.
OEM is b far to expensive.
Previously the water temp did not reach 90 on hard push. On stationnary with fan nover more than 94°
Seems pretty efficient. In my mind to much.

About the piping, I've bought an intercooler with input/output on the same side.
Probably the next thing I will change in next 2 months

in fact I'm really afraid about boring Ralf Baier done. Oblvisouly he did not check the real boring of woesner pistons before boring the block
Wal to piston clearance is 0,5mm!

Hi Oliver,

this Clearance in that height could really be a problem.
I remember on a B16a2 with wössner Pistons on Stock Engine......the clearance was so high (I didnt messure but guess it was about 1 mm), that i could move the pistons with my hands.
The Following happened. First 1000km i hadnt got any problems, expect the oil consumption (about 1l/1000km), later the oil consumption growth within 10000km to 2-2,5l /1000km, till the engine didnt start anymore oneday.

But you have to recognize that forged pistons need more clearance than oem pistons because they expand more under heat.
This can cause serial OEM Sleeve Washing especially when engine cold on the one side because the oem sleeves are weaker material than forged pistons.
But on the other side if you have done your sleeves to forged the clearance should be not a serious problem, because the clearance shrimps with warming the engine. Until you dont here the pistons klicking to your cylinderwalls dont get affraid

Olliver according to the radiator:
My new setup will deliver 260-500PS basing on 4 different maps.
Im pretty shure the oem DC2 radiator is capable of cooling down about 350 hp, but i want to be safe for the higher hp maps, cause the car will really be abused on trackdays.
Now im pretty unsure, because the oem dc2 radiator is really good and some people told me that alloy has a bader heat exchange. But otherside it has lot more of Volume, so more whater that can work. I dont know.

WAs sagt denn die Gemeinde.....Big Size Alu Kühler für DC2 Trackcar oder OEM? Erfahrungen? Technisch erwiesen ist alu hat ne schlechtere Wärmeabgabe als der OEM, allerdings wesentlich mehr Flüssigkeitsvorrat.
