Unbelievable. A few weeks ago I met a guy at the Lausitzring and he also had a EP3 turbosetup from the same manufacture as you. He told me to have paid 18.000Euro.
The car did not run well, the engine knocks, everything leaks and e few things are melted.
The quality was more that terrible and the guy was more than disappointed.
But he never saw his money back.

It is unbelievable how much money people pay for that kind of work.
It is also unbelievable how many people pay that amount of money.

I had a company two years ago and we build turbosetups for Hondas.
We never charged that amount of money and our quality differed A LOT from what I can see from him.

Here are some examples including a few pictures of the setups and an K20 engine in our engine assembly room from our old website:

We usally chargded 6850,- for an ENTIRE (K20) setup including clutch, 3" exhaust gas system, engine management and tuning.

For setups with build motor we charged a 10500,-

So I can not understand why people pay so much money for that. The material he seems to use is very cheap an low quality.

I can not understand the comunity and why people do not compare the quality from different shops before they let theire cars buildt.

Because I was not able to compare. :cry:

Unbelievable, right

I thought for the price he use to fit brand new items, perfectly tune kpro

In fact he fits old stuff (in my case hondata sensor, tial WG, oil cooler and hose, catalyzer)
He stole me my brake disks, my coil over plate and a special steering stuff

He charge me 1650€ for the quaife instead of an already really expensive 1200€ without explanation
8600€ for the stuff II
1100 for the exhaust including cat
PLus some minor charge

I dont know what kind of injectors or clutch were fitted

He does not provide any dynochart, so it can be explained because the kpro was not tune at all. VTC is switch of etc...

He drive approx 1500km with my car for his convenience
He destroyed my seat with grease and his dog eat my seat

SO just to remember what was done
I mean idiotic welding, idiotic manifold, extremely dangerous oil feeding because the risk of fire in case of oil leakage

I remember during 4 month this idiotic bauer says everything was fine
I was stupid and do not understand what was done
I have to bring myself the car by road because everything is fine and I dont know what I'm talking about

So it time to share the nightmare.
People will be able to make their own mind

And now the rework

Clearly it was IMPOSSIBLE to remove the manifold and the turbo.
Everything is just fastly welded, screwed so hard or so light
We just need to cut...

Just to explain this fucking system was already broken when I received the car.
But the MASTER BAIER done the thing right. Better than everybody does in the world.
Does he really thing this or he his kidding? Dont know
I really wonder why audi's and porsche's engineers don't go in the farm to learn good practices and state of art in manifold manufacturing

Seriously, no other way to dismantle!


Fortunately the (already used) wastegate was strong enough and hang the whole system

Superb welding with aragonite



Downpipe welded in 5 minutes on the turbo exhaust manifold




Extravaganza manifold, modified because he decided to use a kkk instead of a standard garrett turbo
To inform you, it is near IMPOSSIBLE to find spare parts of kkk turbo.
In case of failure of whatever, you need to change the whole thing
Unable to find a new exhaust manifold for the turbo

It is said to be new. The spring is a very very very big one, nearly impossible to bend with end
With the new exhaust the turbo goes more than 1,4 bar. The waste gate is ineffective.
HAve a look, this idiotic is even not able to protect the diaphragm.
I NEED A NEW ONE, ANY HELP HERE?



This with what is called a solenoid.
I remember this system ain't got any interaction with the kpro!!
Resulting a lean combustion @ 0.9 bar!!!! No vtec windows and 6000rpm vtec engagment

Simply incredible. My manifold looked even worse. Race prooven, but only on the Bauer farm. I think for a normal thinking man it will never be understandable how he can still pretend everything is just perfect the way it is.

The system was even not able to resist a trip of 500km.
The delivery of the car was done with a manifold already broken.

The man how make my new exhaust and manifold (he used to make exhaust for real race track car like vw fun cup or rally car) had never saw this of his life.
He took picture to share it!

My new manifold and down pipe if fully assembled in different parts (manifold, down pipe part 1, down pipe part 2 and waste gate port) made of inox. As a result it can be removed or mount easily. Nothing is weld.

I do not want to share it because I do not want Bauer to see a solution to his "unknow-how" :hrhr:

Next step is changing the waste gate, put a REAL solenoide, connected to teh Kpro and do a REAL map, with VTC, VTEC windows. Move the oil pressure gauge that mister Bauer put on the carpet.
My AFR is now mount. It will be entirely part of the tuning too.


When I have a look at this kind of pictures taken on his FB album I'm laughing loud.
How many sort of nuts?
Manifold 2 or 3 sorts / size
Turbo flange 2 sorts (1 nut and one 6 pan!)
Downpipe 2 sorts of nuts and 1 nut is missing
