»Will Tomason N1 18x8,5 or 19x8,5 fit my car? (English)

Hello everyone!

I don't understand much german so I'll take this in english. Hope it's okey with you guys. I've been trying to search this forum to find any answer on my question. I have also used Google translator to translate german into swedish, but it translate kind of crazy coco banana

Anyway. When I first saw these Tomason N1 wheels on an EP3 I just fell in love and wanted them immediately! But I got a couple of questions about them first.

Does 18x8,5 or 19x8,5" really fit EP3 without any modifications? Isn't the maximum 8"? Or will it fit with right tires?

Then Im wondering if they're heavy? How much do they weight? I mean if my stock 17" weight about 9,3kg I don't wanna loose to much performance buying these alloys.

Ahaa! So it's fake! Where can I find this pic orginal?

Anyway. I didn't thought it was possible to get these in 8"? On http://www.tomason.de it says "Diese Felge ist verfügbar in folgenden Größen: 8x17; 8,5x18; 8,5x19 und 8x16"

And what about 19" is it possible to get these in 8" too? If they were ever made.

hello and welcome,

if the wheel fits on your ep3 it depends on the offset tomasson provides. as you can see on their homepage they provide in 5x114,3 following dimension and offsets
8x17" offset 40
8,5x18" offset 40
8,5x19" offset
body rework is required on the 18" and 19" wheels. The offset of these aren't suitiable to the ep3. also if you have you car lowered it would be even worse with the rework on the cars body.
But you can take a look at the TÜV-Papers (Teilegutachten) on the website.
these wheels are really heavy it is because the company tries to get as many cars into the "Gutachten" as possible some small and some more heavier cars.

Hmm, that didn't sound too good neither of it

It doesn't feel like its worth making all those modifications like lower the car and making wheelarches broader to make it fit 8,5" if those alloys are that heavy

Damn it! When I finally found alloys I really really liked! But I still love OZ Ultraleggera though.

Whats up with some nice importwheels from japan, like work or enkei.
The Ultras are also goog wheels. Very light and the fit perfekt without any rework on the body! And thy came with an certificate (Teilegutachten)!

Also they are cheap!
