I'm an An american here in Germany and i have a US Spec 1996 Acura Integra LS. Where are some good tuning shops in Baden Wurtenburg? I'm looking to put a b16 transmission from an Civic SI ( i don't know what the euro version is) on my integra LS. I'm also looking to tune my vehicles ECU. Any help would be apprecieted.

sry, i cant tell you where you can find tuningshops in BW but you can order tuning parts online if you dont leave germany in the next days...

Its hard to find good parts for such a swap here in germany...We all try to get these things from the US shops

K4rli@Ej9 told you got shops, so Tuning Honda shops in Baden Wurtenburg is difficult, cause we have to much of Bmw and VW tuning gu(a)ys.

So the only way to order engine parts, is in the www or here in the "part sell area" (in German: Biete Bereich).

For turbocharge call ralf bayer - http://www.b-ht.de/ . He can programm your ECU too.

In Germany you won't find much tuning shops for honda vehicles.

ECU Tuning is very rare and you won't find transmissions or similar in a german store.

I think you find more shops in the netherlands (i think 4 hours away from your position) or in england (ok to far

).

If you ask a german dealer for hondata ecus and making some dyno's 99% of them can't help you.

Then you ask for the "Civic SI". I think you mean our "EJ/EK" Civics. Look here:

Yeah i'm army, Military Police. I'm not sure how long i'm going to be here as i've opted to Apply to fly helicopters as an officer so i might be moving, but hopefully i'll come back. I'm From Boston originally Driving in the Bavarian Alps near Munchen is awesome, and i plan on working here after i get out the military.

But yeah I'm putting on a new exhuast next week, Then I'm saving up for new wheels/tires. Not sure the direction i'm going after that. If i go back to the states i can pick up a GSR head and make an LS/Vtec easily.

Yeah in the states it is much easier to tune your car.More parts.Boston is nice!Did you ship your car or did you buy it here in germany?
You can ship parts from the US till 70 pounds without taxes i think.So why dont you try to get the parts in the US?

The civic SI is the b16 1.6 liter VTEC engine.

Most guys around where i live back home who can't afford a GSR or Type R get the cylinder head from a GSR and the transmission from a b16 and put it on the base b18b1 block. I wouldn't think that stuff like that is common here.

It has 123,000 miles (Thats something like 199,000 Kilometers and it works well no problems)
