First off let me appoligize for typing in english

As i`m taking german leassons but am not too hot yet.. i do appoligize..

Basically i am moving too germany and want too take my car over. Being a british car i hear i need too have my head lights and rear lights changed? was just curious off somewhere that would sell non standard lights in germany? and also a performance garage as i wish too get an engine conversion done... want a 1.8 b18 engine dropped in.

Hi Dug,

do you want to register the car in germany.. i mean you want to drive with german signs?

then you have to get the car "TüV" compliant.

we use this smilie for our position against the german TÜV:

the problem with the lights are as follows:

- "height adjustment" of the lights (Up & Down a several degrees)
- orange colored indicators
- red brake lights at the rear
- white reverse light at the rear
- red rear fog lamp

do you have this lights "stock"? are the lights signed with an "E"-Symbol?

TIP: Make the swap in GB, because in germany you have many problems regarding our TÜV.

well the lights i have are stock at the moment yes, but im moving over on friday hehe.. and was wondering where abouts i would by some non stock.. but german legal lights? and what i have too do too my car.

ah i see. you want to buy some angel eyes or something like that.

we do not have any german legal lights except of the stock honda lights.

its a very sad story, but its true :cry:

there are no german ones.. all driving civics in germany with angel eyes equiped are illegal on the streets.

or they know some "nice" TÜV Guys, but the police knows such lights. because a police officer wants an "E"-Symbol on the lights. And there are no lights available with this specification.

maybe you can buy them in GB (i think they are cheapier there) and after getting german tüv you install them again (or you try to get TÜV for them, too).

because you can say the german police that its an imported car, so they have no / small arguments. (one argument will be "hey officer, that are my stock lights" :roll:

)
