US military members are allowed to ship/bring 1 car to Germany (Europe)...to ship additonal vehicles cost $800. I did not want to ship my US spec Honda Accord (1996)...so instead I bought a new 2004 RSX Type S to bring with me to Germany.

Why did Honda stop exporting the DC5 (RSX) to Europe? Well...if you want, you can buy my RSX before I go back to the US

By the time I return to the US...the new RSX model (due out in 2006) will be roaming the streets and highways

I am not sure Honda will import the Acura RSX Type R...Honda/Acura fans in the US (me included) are puzzled why Honda/Acura do not sell the RSX Type R in the US (marketing reasons?)...may be in the future :wall:

I am not sure about the RSX getting the NSX engine...it's probably a rumor; the same marketing issue with the Civic Type R...all Civic models are sold in the US except the Type R model (go figure).

Anyways, I will be in Stuttgart for a while. Here are my phase 1 project "to do" list: Cold Air Intake, Borla or COMPTECH catback, COMPTECH header, adjustable coil-over suspension, 18" wheels/tires, Hondata ECU reflash, etc., etc.

Last night, I saw a nice white Integra (2000 model?) in downtown Stuttgart. I have also seen another Integra on my way to the Stuttgart Golf Course in Kornwestheim. I see alot Preludes with nice body kits around here...WHERE are you guys getting this kits from? I need to know so that I don't have to wait so long for kits to be shipped from the US :wall:

@Fuchs. Check out the nnomo page. It seems they are importing the RSX now. It's not that expensive that I originally thought.
