»JDM Spiegel (elektrisch einklappbar) für Prelude

I didnt find a write up for our ludes so im gonna make it simple.(or try)

I made this new diagram based on my setup. The USDM has the same amount of wires as the JDM switch exept for the BLU/YEL.
This is the relay you would need G8D-95U-G

Start by running two wires from the passenger side mirror to the drivers.

I had already cut my USDM plug and matched up the colors to the JDM plug.
i used BLACK wire to represent BLU/YEL and red for YEL/RED.

Then run the cables trhu the door jam to the inside to the driver side.
NOTE: it took me 30 min to fight the cables thru.

i used the weather seal and slid the cables under it.

The cables should end up here. Now i mounted my relay on the driver side panel.
I also bent the metal hook from the relay to make it flat and used a 10mm bolt already on the panel,
just unsrew. You could mount the relay anywere else as long as you extend all its cables to reach the mirror switch.

Take the Red wire you ran thru and merge it with the RED/YEL wire from the relay and join them to
the RED/YEL coming from the JDM mirror plug. Then merge BLACK wire with the BLU/RED wire from the relay
and join them to the BLU/RED wire from the JDM mirror plug.

The WHT/YEL wire from the relay is power and the Black wire is ground, so add a red wire to the WHT/YEL and run it to the YEL/Black wire from the JDM folding mirror switch, then a Black wire to Black and run it to the Black wire from the switch also.
You should only have one wire left on the relay GRN/RED , run it to the BLU/YEL wire from the JDM mirror switch.
Note: I Accidently fried my switch before i came up with the diagram.A
lso if you notice my relay wires have different colors. Dont worry just follow the diagram starting from the Black wire on the
relay and the rest are in the same order as the diagram. THEY ARE DIFFERENT COLORS BUT SAME LOCATION AND FUNCTION.

^ To install your switch you will need to put both OEM and JDM side By side,
You will notice the Black and Yel/BLK are in the same spot on both switches,
the wires are in the same order as the OEM, regardless of color(exept Black, YEL/BLK and WHT/BLU these match up)
LOOK AT MY DIAGRAM. IT SPECIFIES HOW TO MERGE THE JDM WIRES TO THE OEM.
NOTE: JDM switch has one more wire than the USDM BLU/YEL witch goes to the relay.

PRESTO! YOU NOW HAVE FULLY FUNCTIONAL FOLDING MIRRORS!

Kennt wer elektrisch raufklappende spiegel? finde das voll genial bei oberklasse autos, dass die spiegel im verriegelten zustand nach oben klappen. gibt es solche spiegel auch für den eg? betonung auf nach oben! die vom mgutt hatte ich gesehen :hrhr:...
